Mama Abbs also came to look at her kids on the set. The rug turned out to be too tempting, so soft and fluffy. The perfect place to lay down for a bit, and the ladies took their chance to see if there was any milk left. They are growing so fast!

Oh dear, Friday the 13th! They say it’s a real unlucky day. And then having so much black in your coat, too! Ziva was being naughty and tried playing with her mother, who then decided Ziva needed a bath. No! she thought, but she was too late. Mom had grabbed her tail and Ziva resigned herself to her faith.

Your owner isn’t as good at taking pictures as our regular photographer, but I was quite proud at capturing this picture of her beautiful face. Here you can see her with her mother Abby on the set. Already 1250 grams in weight at exactly 8 weeks old, she’s a real playful cannonball. Young lady, you’re awesome!

Lovely Ziva, you’re becoming such a beautiful and lovely young lady! Still as naughty as a kitten can be. With your 1086 grams you've even outgrown your sister Kensi! In this picture you can see her licking her nose, right after her mother Abbs gave her the first one.

Additional pictures! Up until now, whenever we made pictures, we missed out on capturing Ziva's trademark stance: alert, tail up and ready to start a new race!

If she thinks I should give her something sooner, or she wants to have something extra, she climbs up unto our laps to come and ask! Here's Ziva in asking-mode, not for a kibble or a piece of meat, but for playtime! Look at that cute little face, she's already becoming quite the little lady!

Jumping, sneaking, the wiggle, and,..! Gotcha! Jum-mjum-mjum-mjum! Ziva's teeth are working great! She exercises them on her serving of fresh meat, which she finds totally amazing. She also grows well with it, weighing in a healthy 914 grams today!

Oh yeah! Ziva has discovered the feather play stick. Look at those crazy somersaults! We were looking through the pictures we made today and couldn't keep this one from you all. Her back was still finishing a jump while her front was already crouching down low for the hunt. Ears forward, tail low to blend in, a little wiggle, and,..!

Ziva! You little race monster! You're the first to have tried the kitten kibble, whoohoo! Already 832 grams today, you're getting a healthy weight young lady! Running, playing, sometimes almost flying, and sleeping, those are the words that describe you best. A lot of energy to burn, and then she'll sleep like a baby as you can see in this photo.

Ziva, you little cannonball! Almost 750 grams already, you're unstoppable when you're playing! Running, jumping, teasing your sisters and loudly proclaiming your opinion on everything. It's high time you start eating some kibble, little one, for the content of the waterglobe is no substitute for mom's milk. So that's why we slip you a bottle of milk every now and then!
October 17th
Oh, oh, oh, .. little Ziva passed the 700 grams mark today! What a wonderful little razzle-dazzle this lady can create. She discovered her scratching post today, good for a climb! And what's that, hanging there on top of it? A little fuzzy ball? She has to get a closer look! Ziva visited the livingroom for the first time today, together with her sisters. Exciting!
October 13th
4 weeks old already, time flies! Ziva is growing rapidly and already weighs a healthy 646 grams! She's very active and also wonderfully talkative. And so adventurous! Her mom Abbs has her paws full on this little racing monster. She is not alone, of course. Along with her sisters, little Ziva thinks she owns te world!
October 11th
Ziva's big adventure under the bed. Little Ziva thought to look behind the foot of the bed and slowly slid down between the bed and the wall. Fortunately her owner already anticipated that already and put a soft pillow there. Thus began her great adventure from cool tiles, dark shadows under the bed and moms rescue. Exciting!
October 8th
Oh Ziva, as enthousiastic while playing, you look so sweet while asleep. Halfway an energetic play session, her battery suddenly went low and she snuggled up against the soft edge of her basket. Eyes almost closed and curled up against her blanket, it took but a minute of nodding off before she arived in her land of dreams. Sweet dreams!
October 6th
Wow, Ziva, you're getting big! Just 3 weeks old and already weighing 509 grams! She's like a little warrior, walking over the Photo set. Sometimes it's still a little scary, because it's still a bit high, but her mom's there quickly to reassure her. 'You can do it, honey!' she seems to say. And Ziva? She proudly lifts her tail into the air!
October 3rd
Won't you look at that! Little Ziva has been walking independently through her family basket! She's a real little indoor tigress, just like her namesake ;) Her eyes are working better and better and she often takes a peek over the edge of her basket. Almost, she thinks,.. almost!
September 29th
Just 14 days old and our little Ziva is already 375 grams in weight! She's growing fast and wobbles briskly around in her family basket. This little lady has a good voice and she isn't afraid to use it! With each following day, we see more 'fire' in her fur. What a beautiful girl she is!
September 27th
Hooray! All kittens have been given a beautiful name! This tough little girl we named Ziva, named after the character from the tv series NCIS. Little Ziva thinks she's a lot bigger and tougher than she actually is! We'll see how she'll turn out. In the meanwhile, she and her sisters have learned how to purr a few days ago. So sweet!
September 25th
What a wonderful little lady, such a beautiful dark coat! We haven't had a solid tortie kitten before and marvel at the deep black and the emerging contrasting red colors of our little kitten. Where she first appeared to be almost solid black with only a little bit of red, she seems to be adding 'fire' to her spirit as well as her coat!
She opened her eyes at September 21st!
From 116 to 235 grams in her first week, her weight almost exactly doubled despite the fact her Mom wasn't feeling well for a little while after having her kids. She managed to keep her kittens in good weight. Since last night, 21st of September, this young lady's eyes bravely peek into the world. This is a lady with spirit!
